Class Statement

Learn to use the Web browser-based language JavaScript to create Web sites that interact immediately with your users. This course will cover how to use the Document Object Model to dynamically change pieces of HTML codes, validate forms and perform other useful tasks. Using AJAX for quick, data-rich interactions and using advanced JavaScript libraries to create visual effects and the kinds of dynamic interfaces will be covered. PREREQUISITE: SMC-2422, Introduction to Web Languages: HTML, or equivalent.
