Class Statement

Building on the techniques covered in the Intermediate Macromedia Flash classes, the goal of this course is to build a solid foundation for ActionScript 3 and Object Oriented Programming. We will begin with an introduction to basic scripting principles and continue through object and class based flash applications. These skills will enable students to build scalable data-driven Flash sites, applications and animations. Some basic previous scripting experience is assumed. We will view existing sites and examine the techniques used in their creation. Students will create small Flash experiments and new Flash sites, or modify existing ones.
